Hello and welcome to fostering!

I understand that Loving All Animals cannot guarantee the temperament or health of any foster pet. While we make every attempt to have history on our animals, we do not always have access to past records. We will provide for a health check, but sometimes this is not possible prior to placement in the foster home. As a foster parent, I understand that I am required to fulfill the same duties as required for any animal under the care of Loving All Animals Inc. These duties may change from time to time as required by regulation, statutes, ordinances and rules. These duties include, but not limited to, all of the following:

My personal pets will be kept current on rabies, and other vaccinations that may be required at the time an animal is fostered. Copies of my pet’s current vaccination records will be kept at my home and also provided to Loving All Animals.

I agree to have copies available of all vaccination records for all fostered pets residing at my home.

I agree to provide a healthful, safe and sanitary environment for the animals in my care.

Water for drinking and a suitable and sufficient supply of appropriate food for the animals shall be maintained on hand and provided at appropriate intervals.

I agree that animal food shall be stored under sanitary conditions and food and water receptacles shall be of a material which can be easily cleaned and disinfected.

I agree that I will dispose of all animal waste daily or as needed by means of a fly tight container which will be removed from the property and disposed of in compliance with all local regulations.

I agree that I will provide socialization, training and exercise for the foster pet while in my care.

I agree that I will exclusively feed Hills Science Diet, that is provided by LAA to the foster pet(s)

I agree to be fully responsible for the safety and well-being of the foster pet while in my care while providing a safe, loving and humane home.

I agree that accidental animal bites or other injuries to humans and other animals may occur, and agree to hold harmless and indemnify, and protect Loving All Animals from any claim or suit filed by someone as a result of such incident. I agree to notify Loving All Animals of any animal bites or other injuries to humans and other animals within 24 hours of the injury.

I understand that Loving All Animals is not responsible for any property damage that may occur to mine or others property by foster pet while the foster pet is in my care, and agree to hold harmless and indemnify, and protect Loving All Animals from any claim or suit filed by some as a result of such incident.

I agree that I will notify Loving All Animals and obtain approval for any medical or other care or treatment for foster pet BEFORE taking the foster pet to a veterinary clinic and understand that expenses not approved by Loving All Animals may not be reimbursed.

I agree that I will not administer any unauthorized medications, oral or topical, unless approved by Loving All Animals.

I agree that I will not alter (e.g. declaw, crop ears, crop tails, etc.) the foster pet while in my care, without prior approval from Loving All Animals. I will provide basic grooming and brushing to keep my foster pet presentable for possible adoption.

I agree to provide Loving All Animals with one (1) week’s notification in the event that I plan a trip and need to have the foster pet placed in another home.

I agree to notify Loving All Animals within 48 hours if I am unable to continue care of placed foster pet and return foster pet to Loving All animals and will not attempt to place foster pet in another person’s care.

I agree that I will return placed foster pet to Loving All Animals by date specified or when requested by an authorized representative of Loving All Animals.

I agree to make foster pet available for all adoption events as requested by Loving All Animals. I will encourage interest in adoption of the foster pet and agree that all adoptions will go through Loving All Animals.

I agree to make foster pet available for all meet and greets within 24 hours of notification.

I agree that if I am interested in adopting foster pet, that I will notify Loving All Animals to complete the adoption process and may be required to pay the adoption fee in effect at the time of the adoption.

I agree to allow follow-up visits from persons authorized by Loving All Animals to my home while animals are in my foster care.

I agree to ask for help or support when needed while animals are in my foster care.

No foster animals shall remain with a foster parent for more than 3 months unless approved by authorized personnel of Loving All Animals.

Loving All Animals will provide all necessary veterinary/medical needs, food and supplies while the pet is under your care along with support and camaraderie of our Loving All Animals Foster Parent Team.
