Pocopson Parents, we are looking for parents to help us restore the outdoor areas that have been unused during the pandemic. The elements have taken over and we need help to get them back for our kids. The outdoor garden and koi pond are amazing spaces that the students love to use and learn in. There have been so many valuable hands-on lessons taught out there and we want to bring it back to its former beauty! The 4th grade teachers have started this project and we want to lend a hand (or many hands)!

We are hoping to find a weekend or two to get together and restore these spaces in a few phases. If you are interested in one particular area, please note that below.

Phase 1- Clean up. Bring your messy clothes and we will get into the garden and koi pond and clean them out.

Phase 2- Rebuilding some of the garden beds and fixing the fences. This will require some carpentry work, so please note if you are interested and able to help with this. We will need tools and some additional wood for these projects.

Phase 3- Laying new soil and mulch and doing some planting. This is great for those out there with the greenest thumbs!
