2080 Alumni Build Day
With Destination Deep Space marking the 30th season for FRC, it is destined to be epic! It is also schedule to be the last season that will have to adhere to the 6-week build season and looming "Stop Build Day!" We definitely recognize the immense impact our team members have had on the development of Torbotics each year. To think that our team has had the good fortune of being shaped in this way for 12 seasons is humbling!
Starting this season, we are attempting to develop a stronger connection with our alumni while also providing a way for our former members to reconnect with each other and the creative excitement characteristic of a FIRST build and competition prep. We are excited to announce the launch of this effort with our 1st annual 2080 Alumni Build Day!
In order for us to assist our current team families with preparing lunch and refreshments for the build day, we are asking for our alumni to fill out the form below. You are welcome to bring guests with you to introduce them FIRST experience. We just need to know a rough estimate on numbers. If you would like to attend, but child care might be a concern, please let us know the ages of the children in the comments section. One of our local FLL teams has volunteered to develop and lead some fun space-themed science and engineering activities depending on the age of the children potentially in attendance.
