Lil' Filmmakers' mission is to train young artists to use media and the arts as a tool to overcome societal and personal barriers and prepare them for careers in the creative industry.
Story to Screen is an after-school program for young people (11-18 years old) with an interest in filmmaking to learn how to produce film and media projects.
Through weekly in-person workshops, participants will learn the basics of movie-making! In this 5-week course you'll learn how to shoot on cameras, write a script, and act in a short scene. No prior experience in film or video is necessary.
The program takes place at the Roxborough Library at 6245 Ridge Avenue. Selected participants must be able to travel to the location in-person each week.
Program starts Monday, April 6, 2026 and runs until Monday, May 4, 2026 (Duration: 5 weeks).
