Payroll Tax Risk Calculator
With companies facing various challenges in their day-to-day work, it is important to perform regular checks and detect potential risks before they materialise. Compliance with Latvian legislation is crucial not only for your company’s reputation but also for successful development and participation in public procurement.
We are inviting you to try our Payroll Tax Risk Calculator, which will help you identify potential risks of personal income tax, mandatory national social insurance contributions, and solidarity tax (“payroll taxes”). This calculator is designed for Latvian taxpayers without any special tax status (e.g. social enterprise).
By answering questions in our calculator, corporate taxpayers can find out the payroll tax risk level in their company. The way our calculator works is fully automatic. The result it generates depends on the accuracy of information you provide and does not constitute tax advice. The calculator will not show up any particular inaccuracies in how you pay your taxes but it will provide an overview of how your company’s overall operations fit into various categories of potential payroll tax risks (errors).
To receive the result of our calculator, please state your email address. If your email address contains personal data, PwC will process it only for sending the calculator’s result to you and for contacting you about potential PwC services in cases described below. Please note that the result our calculator generates will be deleted in one year’s time.
We do not check the information you provide or the result our calculator generates, so PwC assumes no responsibility for the accuracy of this information. To be able to provide advice and draw conclusions about your compliance with Latvian tax legislation, we need to carry out a detailed analysis of your company’s situation.
Our calculator generates a result based on the current Latvian and international law as well as the Latvian State Revenue Service’s practice. However, we are unable to guarantee that the State Revenue Service’s opinion will coincide with that result.
If you or your company is a PwC client then a PwC consultant may contact you for business purposes once our calculator has sent the result to you. If you or your company is not a PwC client then a PwC consultant may contact you only if you have consented to this.
