PATH's mission is to help medical professionals better care for victims of human trafficking through- Enhancing awareness of the scope of the problem- Identifying at-risk patients by utilizing victim-centered interviewing techniques- Providing and promoting trauma-informed care- Equipping health professionals to intervene safely on behalf of patients- Connecting patients, providers, clinics, and hospitals to resources.

As a part of the Student Interest Group, you will be our go-to individuals for a variety of important activities that help to educate the healthcare community and put an end to human trafficking.
We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic students to assist in tasks like letter writing, fundraising, hosting trainings, community outreach, and other miscellaneous activities (including your own ideas and projects)!
Becoming a part of the Student Interest Group will also familiarize you with AMWA-PATH's Student Co-Chair Positions and you could potentially run for one of those in the future. We are a growing force and we welcome you to our group!
