Imperial College Singapore Society Pre-Departure Talk 2020
Hello there! Thank you for your interest in attending the Pre-Departure Talk 2020 organized by the Imperial College Singapore Society. This talk aims to provide freshers with essential information before our freshers leave for London. Not only will this event provide you with the relevant pre-departure administrative information, it will also be a good chance for you to meet with your course seniors and clear any doubts pertaining to your course of study. You will also get to meet your coursemates for the first time at this event. Parents are invited as well!

The details of the event are as follows:

Due to the Covid-19 situation, the event will be held virtually over Microsoft Teams. Please ensure that you have filled in your email address correctly, as the link and access to the meeting room would be sent to your personal emails.

Privacy Notice
By filling in this form, you consent to giving Imperial College Singapore Society (ICSS) the right to collect and store your personal data and information entirety of your membership and/or involvement with ICSS. The information you provide will be used to:

-   Subscribe you to our fortnightly society newsletter, The Kaya and Toast Times;
-   Link you with our ICSS academic reps for your course and seniors/batchmates in your assigned halls;
-   Obtain demographic information about freshers in your batch to aid the Executive Committee in planning relevant events;
-   Include you in any other initiatives by ICSS to facilitate a smooth transition into studying at Imperial College London, as well as provide academic and non-academic support throughout your term of study.

The information will be stored in a secure drive only accessible to current and future members of the ICSS Executive Committee. It will not be shared with anyone else without your consent unless deemed necessary or when the recipient is acting as a service providers who assist the Society College in the preparation, distribution and/or administration related to the society.

Your rights under the Data Protection Legislation:
- Receive a copy of the information we hold about you in a reasonable format specified by you, including for the purpose of transferring that data to another data controller;
- Request us to erase your personal data or object to our processing of your personal data;
- Request your information be changed if you believe it was not correct at the time you provided it;
- Unsubscribe and have your information deleted if you no longer want to receive the Newsletter.

Please note that the above rights are not absolute, and requests may be refused where exceptions apply.

Keeping your personal information:
Your personal information will be kept for the time you are member of the Society and/or in line with any legal requirement whereby at the conclusion it will be deleted.
