PRODUCTION: Every week, we have the incredible opportunity to share the Gospel literally all over the world. Volunteers on the Production team operate cameras, cue lyrics and Scriptures onscreen, mix and adjust volumes on the sound desk, call shots from the advance panel and make sure our broadcasts present the Good News of Jesus Christ in a compelling way. When it comes to the equipment, experience is a plus, but not necessary—we’ll train you!

COMMUNICATION: Calling all photographers, graphic designers, and web designers! We’re looking for volunteers who can help us get the word out. Creating and curating content for our website and app, documenting our events and activities through photography, videography and social media, and even blogging and writing content are just a few examples. If you’ve got an eye for design, if you’re great with words, or if you have some of these skillsets, then we’re looking for you!

GUEST SERVICES: Have you ever had a really good customer-service experience? You know, when someone went above and beyond to help you get where you needed to go, or find what you were looking for? If you enjoy making people feel welcome, if you’re a “people-person,” and if you can flash a genuine smile, then we’re inviting you to join us on the Guest Services team. Volunteers will take their posts at the Welcome Center, at Check-In stations, First-Time Guest stations, and other spots where we can make our guests feel really welcomed.

PARKING: Your first impression is usually a lasting impression, right? For our church, we want to put our best foot forward, beginning the moment our guests roll onto our property. From creating a seamless parking experience to shuttling our members and guests to the front door to helping them navigate back onto the highway, our Parking lot is our first opportunity to demonstrate the love of Christ. If you enjoy the outdoors, meeting new people and making them feel welcome, consider joining our Parking team.

SECURITY/CAMPUS CARE: When our members and guests are on-campus, whether for service or HOPE Groups or any event or activity, we do our best to ensure they feel safe and that our campus is well-presented. The Campus Care team takes care of maintaining our space, both inside and out, setting up chairs and tables for events and activities and providing for the safety of our people. If you’re an organizer, if you take pride in neat, clean appearances, or if you’re interested in security, then the Campus Care team might be the place for you.

TRANSPORTATION: Did you know LHC has a small fleet of vehicles? With three 15-passenger vans and a 57-passenger bus, the Lord has given us four great tools to help carry out His Great Commission. Throughout the year, our ministries sponsor trips all over the US, and we’re looking for drivers. If you enjoy driving and have a safe driving-record, or if you enjoy helping maintain vehicles, we could definitely use your help!

WORSHIP: We value corporate worship. We believe that playing instruments and singing songs of worship and praise to our Savior not only draw us closer in relationship to Him, but they also prepare our hearts and minds to receive His Word. With multiple types of services happening on various days throughout the week in different venues on our campus, there are lots of places for gifted vocalists and musicians to share their gift for worship.

DISCIPLING: In Matthew 28, as He was about to ascend back to the Father, Jesus commissioned His followers to “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them… , and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” The Discipling team is comprised of teachers and leaders who have the passion and desire to walk alongside believers in their journey with Jesus—to make disciples. If teaching is your passion, and if mentoring and leading is your heartbeat, then consider becoming a part of the Discipling team.

RETAIL/MERCHANDISE: As a church, it’s our privilege to resource our members, guests, and the community in their walk with Jesus. Whether it’s through a book, a Bible, a tee shirt, coffee or a coffee mug, we’re communicating the goodness of God. Every sale is an opportunity to help spread the word about His love and grace to others. Volunteers order and prepare merchandise to be sold, accept payments at kiosks, and even prepare drinks for the coffee shop. There are always opportunities in Retail!

HOSPITALITY: We LOVE PEOPLE! That’s our calling, that’s our design, and if compassion is your gift, then you have a place on the Hospitality team. From event meals to serving families after the loss of a loved-one to stocking the volunteer room with supplies, the Hospitality team aims to extend compassion to others in their time of need, and to make this place feel like home while you’re here. If compassion is your gift, if cooking is your passion, or if food is your love language, then you’ll fit in nicely on the Hospitality team.

SHEPHERDING: Some people are naturally nurturers. Armed not only with the gifts of compassion and service, these people are drawn to build and maintain relationships with others. In Matthew 25, Jesus pronounced blessing on those who provided for the hungry and thirsty, those who visited the sick and imprisoned, and those who welcomed the stranger. Like the Good Shepherd, this team actively provides care for our church people and the community with cards, calls, visits, meals, and whatever else we can do to serve.

OUTREACH/EVANGELISM: From the word, GO, the Outreach and Evangelism team is all about reaching people with the Good News of Jesus Christ. This group of radicals takes the message of the Gospel all over the world—through mission trips and mission-opportunities—while also sponsoring events and activities nearby—from Veteran Meals to Backpack Lunches and everything in-between—all for the sake of building a bridge to the Cross. If you have a heart to see the lost found, if you’re passionate about sharing the Gospel, or even if you’re interested in altar-ministry during our on-campus services, then you have a place on the Outreach team.
