2 Over 1 Game Forcing (2/1GF) is a bridge bidding system that is an extension of Standard American. The main difference between the two systems is when responder bids at the 2 level over an opening bid of 1D, 1H or 1S without any competitive bidding. In the 2/1 GF system, this establishes a game forcing auction. The partnership may not pass until a game contract is reached. This is the main principle upon which the system is based.

John Cotty, a certified ACBL Teacher and Diamond Life Master, will be conducting a 6 week class on this bidding system. Upon completion of the classes, you will be able to implement the bidding system with your partners. We will use the 2 Over 1 Game Force by Audrey Grant and Eric Rodwell as the basis for the class and it is not necessary to purchase the book. The class is limited to 12 participants.
