It is time for East Jessamine Middle School to elect four parents as representatives for our School Based Decision Making (SBDM) Council.
“School councils promote shared leadership among those who are close to the students. Membership of each council includes parents, teachers, and an administrator of the school. The council has the responsibility to set school policy and make decisions outlined in statute, which should provide an environment to enhance student achievement.”
These representatives will take office after July 2025. If you are interested in serving on the Council, you will need to complete the nomination form at the bottom, telling other parents about yourself.
