4-H Afterschool aims to provide a safe and secure place for youth to share fellowship, recreation, service and learning. This means that youth in 4-H Afterschool’s program will participate in hands-on learning experiences that help them develop life skills and foster caring relationships with adults and peers while having fun in a safe, welcoming environment.
4-H Afterschool Program is housed at the Cochrane-Fountain City School. Hours are 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. All contracted days are $5 per day per student. The program is closed any day or time the School District is closed, including snow days, early release or energy related closings. Contracts are completed for a monthly basis beginning September 1, 2017. A written or email notice must be given one week prior for any varied schedule or schedule change, otherwise charges will be billed. Any un-contracted days will result in a charge of $10 per day per child. Un-contracted days must be paid at time of student pick-up. A $10 per half-hour late fee is assessed when a student remains after 6:00p.m. The fee must be paid at the time of the parent/guardian arrival. If a student is not picked up one-half hour after the close of the program the staff will contact the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Department.
Parents/Guardians will be billed for program based on this contract, regardless of attendance. All fees are due the first day of each month. The first payment is due September 4, 2017. Failure to pay will jeopardize children’s participation in the program.
Afternoon healthy snacks are provided daily.
An additional enrollment fee of $5 is required for insurance purposes, and must be paid at the time of enrollment. Please make all checks payable to CFC 4-H Afterschool. Payment and Enrollment Form must be returned to CFC School 4-H Afterschool classroom or to Buffalo County UW-Extension; 407 S. 2nd St.; Alma, WI 54610 by August 25, 2017. Children are served on a first-enrolled, first served basis. Limited student spots may exist. Please note: Final enrollment must be completed via 4HOnline by September 4, 2017.
