Register for the FREE Caregiver Training Camp in Georgetown on February 8, 2020
Thank you for your interest in the free Caregiver Training Camp, taking place on Saturday, February 8th, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Williamson County EMS Training Center (3189 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626).

The conference is a joint effort between regional non-profit organization AGE of Central Texas and the Williamson County EMS, to assist first-time caregivers – and in particular, those living in rural areas of Central Texas – to better manage the dynamics of their new caregiving role.


This year's conference event schedule will include:

9:00 a.m.: Registration, light breakfast, and Resource & Information Fair

9:30 a.m.: "I'm a Caregiver, Now What?!"" with Lori Hill, CaregiverU Program Associate

10:30 a.m.: "Tackling Medical Issues" with Lina Supnet-Zapata, Executive Director/Managing Partner for MIR Care Consultants, Inc

11:30 a.m to Noon: Resource & Information Fair and Complimentary Lunch

12:00 – 1:00 pm: "Preventing Falls and Caregiver Safety" with Dr. Amy Walters, Assistant Professor and Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at the St. Augustine University

1:00 – 2:00 pm: "The Caregiver Playbook" with AGE of Central Texas caregiving experts
