Let's talk about the TIMESTAMPS.  Suppose you make 3 choices on 1/19/24 at 9:17 PM:  Engineering, Theater, and Orchestra...THEN you change your mind and submit ANOTHER request on 1/25/24 at 5:15 PM:  Engineering, Finance, and Band.  WELL - What happens if the Engineering course has TOO MANY requests?  I am forced to use the TIMESTAMPS to determine who gets into the course; all others will be on a waiting list and emailed a message that it's full, etc.  YES, THIS THEN BECOMES A FIRST-COME-FIRST-SERVED APPROACH.  In the case I just outlined, I would still use your FIRST TIMESTAMP for ENGINEERING since you asked for it earlier.  Hope this makes sense.
