There will be a short classroom portion of the evening to familiarize you with the monitoring procedures and tools and then we will go to the creek to perform some of the testing and evaluations. Snacks will be provided. Please bring your own water bottle and mosquito repellent if desired.
Please dress in anticipation of getting WET. We will be entering the creek in order to do much of testing required. The creek is ankle to knee deep in most areas that we will be entering under normal conditions. Waterproof shoes are recommended as it is possible that there may be debris in the creek.
If there is severe weather or the water is moving too quickly to be safe, we will notify you and reschedule the event.
