Spectrum Life Nebraska
The Autism spectrum covers a wide variety of experiences and challenges. You may have heard the saying "If you've met one person with Autism...you've met one person with Autism." In the year 2014, Nebraska schools served over 6000 individuals with Autism under the age of 21. There are no accurate statistics for adults with Autism. We want to share as full a range of their stories as possible. We welcome submissions from people in Nebraska with autism and those who care for people with Autism, whether as a family member or as a professional. Submissions may be edited for content and language. We encourage you to share your real life challenges; however, we ask that you preserve the dignity and self-worth of the individual you care for, especially if they are unable to speak for themselves. Please answer the starred questions but feel free to answer as many or as few of the following prompts. If you have pictures to share send them to lincolnharper@gmail.com
