Backing

Please supply backing that is at least 4 inches larger on EACH side of your quilt top. Example: Quilt top = 60x80, backing should be 68x88. If it is not, we may not be able to properly secure your quilt to our frame and may ask for additional yardage or new backing.

To ensure the best handling of your quilt on our frame we request a single horizonal seam or extra wide backing without a seam. If you have a backing with several seams, please seek prior approval as this requires additional time and attention.

Binding Service

Binding must be supplied by quilter pieced and ready for application.

Linear inches can be calculated by adding up the length of each side of your quilt. EX 60x80 quilt top dimension, 60+60+80+80

Trim and machine sew binding to the front of my quilt - $30 flat rate

Trim and machine sew binding to the front and machine finish - $0.15 cents per linear inch

Trim and machine sew binding to the front and hand finished (invisible stitch) - $0.30 cents per linear inch

Trim and machine sew binding to the front and hand finished (big stitch) - $0.30 cents per linear inch

Trimming Service (complimentary)

This allows me to photograph your quilt in our studio for marketing purposes.

Note: Excess backing fabric will always be sent back.
