For those who have attended the Snake Valley camp before, facilities at Nillahcootie Camp are SIGNIFICANTLY  better. 
COST: The per person cost for the camp is $85 for two nights (Minimum), $120 for 3 nights.  The cost is the same for bunk beds or camping. This includes the main meal on Saturday night, but you should cater for yourself for all other meals.

Accomodation:  You should bring all your own bedding. Rooms have heaters. If you are camping in tent/caravan/trailer/roof top; please do not expect to access 240V as first priority must go to astronomical needs. 

We encourage, and welcome new astronomers, and people who have never been to an Astro-camp before. There will be plenty of experienced astronomers there who will delight in answering questions, even what you consider “stupid” questions!! Make sure you bring a RED torch to find your way around in the dark.(The use of WHITE lights during astronomy activities is frowned upon) On Saturday evening we will be welcoming local community people to enjoy talking to “astronomers” and looking through telescopes, between 7pm and 10pm.

NOTE: We will be supplying 240V to near the centre of each field. It’s up to you to supply your own extension leads to your telescope. For safety reasons we prefer leads to be either new or tested and tagged. We will have testing facilities available if required.

To calculate your total cost multiply the number of persons over 5yo by the cost for the 2 night package or 3 night package that you will be staying for ($85 for 2 nights and $120 for 3 nights).

For example if you have 2 adults, 1 child over 5 yr and 1 child under 5 years staying for 2 nights your cost would be as follows:

Please note we will allocate people to rooms, probably filling them to 50% or less. Let us know if you wish to share a room with someone in particular. If you have any other notes, questions or information about your group coming to the camp, please use this space to provide that information.
During the day, PARTICULARLY if the weather is inclement, its good to have people give presentations. We really enjoy them!! Would you like to give a short presentation, or an instructive presentation at the camp? We have a data projector and a screen.  If YES then please tell us what you'd like to present, how long it'll last and any equipment you'd need.  It's a friendly environment and a good opportunity to present to a small group of like-minded people. We'll confirm with you later whether it's going ahead.
