Fourth Quarter STAR School Family Survey
Greetings STAR Families!
Within the next several weeks, the STAR School Board will be making a decision about the mode of school for our 4th Quarter.
It is possible that we may return to some form of in-person learning.
In order to plan for learning spaces, staffing and detailed safety measures if we do have in-person learning, we need to know which families will choose to send their students back to campus.
We realize that some families would prefer to keep their students at home with only online distance learning, and that option will continue to be available, even if in-person learning begins.
Please fill out the short survey on the next page and choose one of these options for next quarter for your student. We have intentionally NOT included an 'undecided' option at this point.
**NOTE: This is NOT a survey/vote for what you think the school should choose to do. It is to find out which choice you will make for your student if an in-person option becomes available.**
Please know if an in-person option is offered, we will implement a comprehensive plan for keeping students and staff physically safe, including face masks, health and temperature checks, social distancing, frequent sanitizing, etc. You can read our “Mitigation Plan” on our school website to help you with your decision.
It is important to remember that we cannot guarantee zero risk, but we will take the recommended precautions to minimize the risk for all students and staff.
Please complete this survey by 10 PM Thursday, February 18. Families who have not completed the survey will receive phone calls from staff to gather the information.
