mPOWER Digital: Register of Interest

Welcome! Please use this short survey to register your interest for the third and final mPOWER Digital course.

The free mPOWER Digital course zooms in on best practices to advance democratic public ownership for a successful energy transition.

It will enable participants to learn from European cities that are leading the energy transition and provide plenty of opportunities to exchange municipal power experiences with other municipalities from across the continent.

For a period of six weeks, 30-35 participants will

- have access to energy transition resources, videos and specialists
- receive guidance to pull out best practices and key lessons to draft their own energy transition recommendations,
- advance democratic public ownership over energy and
- build lasting, active relationships with other municipalities.

The course is tailored for people working in or with local authorities/municipalities/councils in Europe, preferably those who work in the energy departments, or those who are able to make changes relating to energy. We encourage participating municipalities to apply with two representatives, to better enable learning to be shared.

Each online course runs for 6 weeks and will consist of 1 session per week.

Participating in one of the online courses requires 2 hours for the webinar, 1 hour for reading in your own time and a small weekly assignment to develop your own list of (policy) recommendations.

The first edition of the course took place in spring 2020, with very positive reviews from its participants and this autumn (2020) the second course takes place.

The course will run one more time between April and May 2021.

Below you can see the themes that will be addressed and the time of every session
