Somerville Shared Streets - User Survey
This survey is being conducted by the City of Somerville, Office of Strategic Planning and Community Development's Mobility team. Given the importance of rapidly adapting our city planning in accordance with shifting COVID-related needs, we would like to know if the Shared Streets project is working well for those in our community.

If you live in an area with an active Shared Street, and/or have used Shared Streets in Somerville, we would love to hear from you. All information gathered from this user survey will inform the Mobility team's decisions about how to change this project to be more useful to our community and effective in achieving its goals.

Q5: Please read the following statement: "The Somerville Shared Streets program is meant to give people more space to get around in their neighborhoods car-free and safely during this time. While it remains safest to stay distanced from others during this time, we know people need to travel from their homes to make essential trips to grocery stores, food pantries, or medical appointments. Additionally, getting fresh air and exercise can be hard to do at home. In the early mornings and evenings when it's cooler outside, you can use shared streets to walk or bike and make trips to essential services."                                                                                                         Is that how you understand the program?
