The class times for 2019 are subject to change depending on numbers. If class times are changed, all parents and students effected will be notified. Classes are arranged in Year groups to facilitate enjoyment with peers and as age often reflects ability. In exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of the dance teacher and coordinator, students may be given permission to join groups that differ from their Year level.
The tuition fee will be automatically charged to the account per semester. No refund will be given in part should a student withdraw during a semester. If a student wishes to withdraw, the parent must notify the coordinator Mrs Stacey Cooper via email email@example.com and she will arrange for charges to cease. These conditions exist to encourage dancers to persist with their ensembles as withdrawal of dancers from groups can upset costume arrangements, choreography and the progress of other dancers.
Costumes are mostly provided for all performances, except for the competition troupe. each female dancer will be required to purchase a proper fitting, well-supported black dance leotard for their comfort and modesty given the classes are of mixed age and gender. Males should purchase a black t-shirt or singlet and black shorts.
Classes take place in the dance studio in the Woodstock building under the instruction of Ms Michelle Stewart (nee Janissen). You will be asked to join the Scots Dance Team App for notification regarding rehearsal changes on the rare occasion this occurs.Information on the 2019 programs can be found by following this link:
