Amateur Astronomy Clubs in Africa Database
The Outreach Committee of the African Astronomical Society (AfAS) would like to create a database of all the amateur astronomy clubs in Africa. This is to help us better connect with you. We hope that all of us can use this network to organise events, share knowledge, collaborate, and help each other.

We are interested in getting to know amateur astronomy clubs of various kinds  - those that are independent, affiliated with societies, or are in schools and colleges. We would like to make some basic information public, in an interactive map. All fields not marked "for private use" below will be made public.

AfAS is a pan-African professional society of astronomers, and has set up an outreach committee to promote astronomy throughout the continent. If you have any questions, please email niruj@africanastronomicalsociety.org
