Cantare 2024-2025 After School Choir Enrollment Form
Our tuition-free after school choir programs offer an exciting array of choral performance opportunities for 3-5 graders. Directed by members of Cantare's acclaimed Teaching Artist staff, students rehearse weekly, learning fundamentals of choral singing and music theory. Our choirs represent their neighborhoods by performing at school and community events by performing repertoire that celebrates the diversity of Oakland.

  • Cleveland Elementary Music Stars  , Rhonda Crane, Director (Thursdays 3-4 pm, beginning 9/19)
  • Franklin Elementary Music Stars  , Leila Motaei, Director (Thursdays 3:10-4:10, beginning 9/19)
  • Melrose Music Stars , Lydia Mills, Director (Wednesdays 1:30 -2:45 pm) Sign up for Waiting list
  • La Escuelita Elementary Music Stars , Ray Capiral, Director (Thursdays 3-4 pm beginning 9/26)
