Riding the Wave of Change 2022 - Call for Presentations
May 5th & 6th, 2022
Lakeview Resort & Conference Center
Gimli, Manitoba

Keynote Speaker: Alan Levine

Spotlight Speakers: Rodd Lucier, Melissa Burns & Jamie Leduc

The Riding the Wave Conference hosts workshops for teachers who use technology in their classrooms and sessions for administrators who utilize various technologies to connect, communicate & manage ideas & information. Proposals for workshops should showcase the creative and innovative use of technology in your instructional practice. Workshops are single sessions (75 minutes in length) and will be presented twice during the conference.

The theme this year is 'emergence'. As we start to look toward the light at the end of this pandemic tunnel, we want to highlight and share the collective lessons we've learned from this experience. Let's celebrate those silver linings that have emerged through the reality of living and working through a global pandemic.

We are looking for presentations on the following topics: passion projects, global collaboration, gaming, community building, wellness & self care, engaging remote learners or any other creative and innovative examples of technology use that you think would resonate with others :-)

Presenters will have access to either a wired or wireless Internet connection and a data projector with speakers. If you plan to facilitate a hands-on workshop, you'll need to request that people bring their own device and specify software/apps that need to be pre-installed.

The deadline for proposals is December 10th, 2021.
