Village of Cross Plains Brush Pick-up
The Village of Cross Plains has brush pickup the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. Residents are required to notify the Village Office to request a brush pickup. If you wish to add your address to the next brush pickup date, please complete this form.
Brush is defined as any woody type material with a diameter of lead in a lead pencil or larger. Brush should be placed near the curb away from mailboxes, fire hydrants, signs or poles that are near the street. If you have a brush pile placed near the curb, do not park a vehicle on the street near the pile. Brush should be stacked neatly with the cut-ends closest to the curb. Brush with roots attached to them will not be picked up (roots cause damage to the wood chipper). Please cut off and dispose of roots that might be attached to your brush.
The Village does not pickup yard waste. Yard waste is grass clippings, leaves, flowers or garden plants. Feel free to transport your yard waste to the Public Facilities Garage located at 1225 Bourbon Road. Yard waste should be placed within the concrete bunker area located on the west side of the garage.
If you have any question regarding this form or brush pickup, please contact Village Hall at 608-798-3241.
I certify that my brush will be a woody type material with a diameter of lead in a lead pencil or larger. I also certify the my brush will be placed near the curb away from other objects, will be stacked neatly with the cut-ends closest to the curb, and will not contain any roots or dirt.
I certify that my brush will comply with the statement above.
Please note that at times due to a large volume of requests, it may take up to a week for Village Crews to pickup all requested brush piles. We appreciate your patience during high volume times.
