Wildfires are not only disasters that impact human lives
and infrastructure but also ecological processes which
shape the natural world around us. Join us for a
conversation about how local scientists, land managers,
and community organizers are thinking about fire from an
ecological perspective, especially in the context of their
work on the Eaton Fire. Topics discussed will include
specific post-fire management challenges in Eaton Canyon
as well as community-led efforts to change the way we
relate to fire.
Please submit your questions to the panel ahead of time.
