REGISTRATION DEADLINE is Wednesday, September 30.
No entry fee. The show will be judged and ribbon prizes will be awarded. One award per artist per category. Categories will be determined based on entries. This show is open to MAA dues-paid members only. Membership is $30.00 per year. Call Doris Phillips (860-243-0420) with membership questions.
Thursday, October 1 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm in the Friends Room of the Library. You may submit up to two artworks. Items submitted MUST BE THE ORIGINAL ARTWORK OF THE ENTRANT. All media accepted. Artwork not to exceed 40” (including frame) in any dimension. Artwork must be able to be hung on the wall; no freestanding sculpture (small pieces may be displayed in the library's glass display cases). Please attach a note to the back of each piece with your name and the name of the artwork. Artwork must be securely framed and ready to hang with screw eyes and wire (no tooth hooks). MAA reserves the right to reject any entry upon submission if it's not properly framed.
Interested buyers will be referred to you. A price list with artists’ phone numbers will be at the library circulation desk.
Sunday October 4, 2:00 to 4:00 reception and awards ceremony. Family and friends are welcome! The reception is free and open to the public.
Thursday, October 29 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm in the Friends Room of the Library. PLEASE DO NOT COME EARLIER. All entries must stay intact for the duration of the exhibit. A committee member must check out entries.
