Humanizing Healthcare Through the Arts
A three-part public conversation series bringing together arts, humanities, medicine and healthcare professionals, artists, community leaders, and students from Duke and Durham to explore how creative practices can support healing, connection, and wellbeing. From national, state, and local efforts to prescribe arts engagement for wellbeing, to emerging policy platforms and workforce development, each event hosts two handpicked leaders from arts and health professions to share work and insights.
This series is moderated by
Dr. Sarah Wilbur, dance-and-health practitioner and arts-labor researcher (Dance & Theater Studies).
All events are on Wednesdays 6-7:30pm at Rubenstein Arts Center Lounge, 2020 Campus Drive. Free parking after 6pm at the Anderson St and Campus Drive Lot.
