Malta House Inc. is currently accepting applications. Please note that an interview is not a guarantee of acceptance into the program.

Eligibility Criteria: 

This is an extended program serving single mothers that are homeless, who are currently living in emergency housing, and/or are at risk of becoming homeless due to eviction or financial difficulties. 

Please be informed Malta House is a program designed to support women by providing social services support in addition to health and spiritual counseling as needed. Residents will be expected to participate in community events, along with group classes or individual studies for self-improvement. 

Eligibility will be based on the following criteria: 

● Applicant must be 18 years of age or older

● Be pregnant or have a child younger than 12 months old

● Meet the federal poverty guidelines 

● Have employment income or receive income from the state 

● No psychiatric or serious psychological issues and/or recent drug history

● Have motivation to become self-sufficient, employed and independent 

● Have the potential to benefit from this program
