PATIENT EXPERIENCE SURVEY FOR PEOPLE LIVING WITH DIABETES: 2020
Medical Schemes contract with Registered Managed Care Organizations (MCO's) to provide specific Management Programmes to monitor and manage chronic health conditions experienced by their Members.
The Council for Medical Schemes (CMS) is conducting a Health Consumer Experience Survey to measure the quality of healthcare interventions provided to medical scheme members and beneficiaries, who are registered to receive care from such a Programme.
This Survey focuses on Diabetes Management Programmes.
The purpose of this Survey is to collect information from beneficiaries of Diabetes Management Programmes with the aim of informing healthcare quality improvement for those beneficiaries.
You have been identified as an eligible respondent, on the basis that your medical scheme has registered you on a Diabetes Management Programme. You will be asked questions relating to your personal experiences in engaging with your Diabetes Management Programme doctor or nurse.
Your responses, should you take up this invitation to participate, will be used to analyse and assess whether your inter-personal engagements with your diabetes management service provider results in satisfactory health-seeking outcomes.
This Survey is confidential and your personal name and details are not required to participate in this Survey and cannot be linked to your responses. Thus, all aspects of your identity and your participation in the Survey will be confidential and will not be known by your Medical Scheme, MCO nor the CMS.
The questionnaire will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete.
