SSEN's Orkney Project Feedback V1.2
This form is intended to capture the views of the Orkney public on the proposals presently being put forward by SSEN for their 'Orkney Project'. This feedback exercise is being organised by Orkney Heritage Society as a response to its concerns about the quality of the consultation exercise undertaken by SSEN and what the Society sees as the lack of progress in meaningfully engaging with the community and listening to its concerns.

This questionnaire is in three parts:
> The consultation itself
> What you think of the scheme
> Information about you for future contact (if you want it)

The 'Project' comprises 4 main parts:
 1. Cables running from Costa Head and Hoy to Finstown. These are planned to be overhead and strung on pairs of poles spaced at about 100m
2. These cables run via 'switching stations' at Ellibister & St Margaret's Hope
3. A sub-station at Finstown. The view from the Harray Road is as shown in the header to this form.
4. An export cable running underground from Finstown to Warebeth which then crosses the Pentland Firth to Caithness.

Please note that the last question asks you to confirm you are content for OHS to store the data in this form in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations. The details as to how OHS will handle your data is shown on the website and details can be provided upon request.
