The Edward M. Kennedy Institute is proud to be a destination for civic engagement, offering interactive, technology-based educational experiences for students and groups of all ages. For the 2020-2021 school year and summer 2021, the Institute is offering several virtual field trip options. To request a virtual visit at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute with your school or group, please fill out the form below.

Virtual Experience Requested *
For the 2020-2021 school year and summer 2021, the Institute is offering several virtual field trip options facilitated by our staff. There are several Today's Vote options: Electoral College, Green New Deal, Voting Rights Restoration, Mandatory Minimums, Confederate Monument Removal Act, Supreme Court Justice Nomination Hearing, and Cabinet Confirmation Hearing; the Today's Vote program is suitable for grades 6-12, as well as college and adult groups. We offer two Pathways programs for grades 4-8: Pathways to Citizenship and Pathways to Environmental Justice. And Welcoming Words, in which students in grades K-3 learn about the Statue of Liberty and create their own symbol of welcome. Please note, the SIM program is not available at this time.
Virtual Visit Technology Requirements *
The Kennedy Institute is committed to making virtual field trips as easy as possible for teachers and group leaders. Our staff can set up a Zoom for your students to join, or join as a guest host in your classroom Zoom or Google Classroom. We will work with you to facilitate the best experience for your students. Please select the option below that will work best for your group to participate in the program. (If you use a different software for teaching, please note that below.)
