Daly Avenue Roadway Changes Survey
Some residents in the northwest corner of Sandy Hill have asked ASH to assist them in improving movement along Daly Ave between Waller and King Edward Ave.  As a first step ASH is looking for feedback from residents on several possible changes to the roadway at the western end of Daly Ave.

Potential changes could include opening up the cul de sac at Waller (see photo below ) to  car traffic and to cycling as well as seeking ways  to encourage more pedestrian movements along the street via initiatives such as the addition of a protected pedestrian crossing at King Edward and longer pedestrian crossing times at the signal at Waller.

The intent is to encourage more users of all types to use the section of Daly between Waller and King Edward with the goal of reducing the public safety related incidents that have been increasing in frequency in this area. These incidents have been acting as a deterrent for residents who would like to make more use of this section of the street and have also led to a deterioration in conditions for residents who live in the area.

To assist us in determining next steps, ASH is making the below survey questions available to collect resident feedback.  The survey will be open until Dec 15.
