The National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) is the premiere honorary student organization supported by NACURH, the leading international organization advocating for the interests and welfare of residence hall students, while also providing opportunities for their personal growth and development. NRHH strives to provide recognition for individuals who have contributed to the advancement of college and university housing. In exemplifying organizational values, NRHH plans several service oriented events throughout the year which can include anything from making blankets for homeless individuals to working at a local food bank. NRHH members also write Of The Month (OTM) awards which are short 250-500 word essays that explain why a certain individual or event was successful during that given month.
Below are the requirements in order to become a member:A) must reside in a Georgia Tech residence hall.B) must have completed one full academic semester at Georgia Tech.C) shall have exhibited outstanding leadership and service in the advancement of residence hall life at Georgia Tech.D) shall have an overall GPA of at least 2.50 at the time of nomination.E) shall be in Good Academic and Disciplinary standing with the Institute.
This nomination form closes on March 15 at 11:59 PM. Any active or honorary NRHH member, employee of the Department of Housing (both professional and student staff members), or resident may nominate someone for membership. Those members selected will need to attend an induction ceremony to be held on April 14th at 7 PM.
