The ECAR training-of-trainers program seeks to prepare higher education leaders to consider making their institution a Resettlement Campus, i.e. one that mobilizes its resources to support forcibly displaced persons while also engaging in related and transformative curricular and co-curricular efforts.
This national, certificate bearing training program is designed and run by Every Campus A Refuge (ECAR). This eight-hour virtual training has these goals:
- Enriching your knowledge on forced migration and refugee resettlement;
- Empowering you to see the possibilities for your institution in refugee resettlement and integration support, and related transformative curricular and co-curricular programming; and
- Equipping you with the tools to create a campus welcoming for refugees and forcibly displaced persons.
This training is offered to both US and international institutions.
Cost of training:
$3,000 up to 25 participants
$4,500 for 25-50 participants
We encourage smaller institutions and institutions facing severe financial need to reach out to us at everycampusarefuge@gmail.com to negotiate a revised fee.
Institutions signing on to become an ECAR Chapter may receive this training for free. Visit www.everycampusarefuge.org to learn more about how to become an ECAR Chapter.
