Volunteer for the Apple Blitz 2019!
Hello friends of the Boulder Apple Tree Project! We are making plans for the Apple Blitz 2019 that will be conducted on Saturday, September 21, from 8 to 1 pm. This year, we will be focusing on locating and sampling trees from public spaces. We will be matching teams of undergraduate students who will be taking a class that is using the apple trees to understand local ecological systems. Our goal is to have 2-3 community volunteers partnered with a group of 2-3 undergraduates to carry out these surveys. As with last year, we will meet directly after field sampling to collect equipment and samples, have lunch, and share experiences. While we encourage entire families participate we are limiting the youngest age to 7. Please let us know if you will be joining us!*
*All volunteers should be prepared for hiking and working in the sun.

We will be visiting Open Space and public sites. Do you have transportation to reach those locations?
If you answered "yes" to the transportation question, do you have a car or bike?
Would you be willing to drive others?
Is there anything you'd like to share about yourself as a potential volunteer?
