Update Your Workflow Engine
So far in 2019, your workflows tool has undergone a complete under-the-hood renovation. As a result, you've seen a ton of new features that enable new automations and optimize existing ones: merging branches, creating Slack notifications, automating Asana tasks, and more. But those new features have always come with a caveat: "only available in company, deal, ticket, and quote workflows."
In the next few months, that caveat will be no more. You'll be able to use all the new workflow functionality on all your workflows, including contact workflows. That means a more consistent user interface and a more robust workflows tool all around.
Fill out the form below to request earliest available access for your account, which will happen when we begin public beta. We do not yet have a set date on which we will begin granting access. However, after access is given, your most recent workflows (those created after August 5) will be moved to the new system.
By the end of the year, all your workflows will be moved to the new system, and will have all of the new actions. In the meantime, after gaining access to the new features, if you'd like to move an older workflow to the new system, you can do so by cloning it: every newly created workflow in your account will live in the new system.
