Short-Term Volunteer Application
We welcome you to Hillside Health Care International, a leader in medical education and service to the undeserved in Central America. We hope you will have the opportunity to serve at our clinic and continue to do so for years to come.

Please follow the instructions to apply to our program:
Submit this application to inquire about availability of the time you want to serve. If a spot is available, you will be notified. We must receive the following documents at least three months prior to arrival for Belizean license processing:
● Curriculum Vitae
● Notarized copy of license
● Notarized copy of diploma (yes diploma!)
● Completed Background Check
● Completed Belize Licensure Application
● Administrative fee of $100 USD to cover the cost of licensing etc.
● Copy of passport page
● For those medical volunteers who choose to stay on the Hillside campus there is a $15 US/day housing fee or$100 US/week.

After your application is processed you will be notified of further documents needed for licensing.

We will send you an invoice for your application fees payable via card or check.

We greatly appreciate the time and energy that you are choosing to give to Hillside but we ask you to understand that the clinic operates on donations. These fees help offset expenses for housing, utilities, work-related transportation, license and visa fees, and help us to continue to provide free health care services to the people of Toledo, Belize. If you would like to raise additional funds or collect supplies for the clinic prior to your experience, please contact development@hillsidebelize.org for promotional materials and for a list of medication and supplies that are needed.

Thank you for your interest in our clinic!

Sincerely,

Hillside Health Care International
