DUSP SCC-PASS Prospective Applicants for Fall 2017
The Students of Color Committee (SCC) at MIT's Department of Urban Studies and Planning (DUSP) is committed to increasing the diversity and inclusion of each admitted class. We are excited that you are considering our program in your application process!

What is PASS?
The Peer Application Support Service (PASS) is a student-led initiative of the SCC that matches current DUSP students with prospective students of color, international, and/or queer applicants to offer guidance through the DUSP application process. Mentors may help to answer questions about the DUSP curriculum and degree options, proofread statement of objective essays, provide guidance on choosing an MCP concentration, among other items.

Please complete the form below if you are interested in signing up for an SCC-PASS mentor. As this is a student-led initiative, the availability of mentors varies and it may take a few weeks to be matched. Upon being matched, an SCC-PASS member or mentor will contact you via email. Please note: this initiative is primarily geared toward prospective Masters students; PhD students are welcome to sign up, but our ability to match you is quite limited as most volunteers are Masters students. If you'd like additional information about the PhD program, we encourage you to reach out to the departmental contact for PhD admissions.

If you have any questions, feel free to send us a message at sccrecruit@gmail.com.
