Event Registration
The virtual Young Authors Book Festival is back! Our theme this year is THE REAL POWER OF FANTASY. You and your students in grades K-8 are invited to this event on Tuesday, March 28. 

At the virtual book festival, teachers will bring the interactive assembly right into the classroom! Our keynote presenter will give a book talk about the main Community Read. Young authors will participate in literacy workshops covering a range of topics and activities.  These are organized into 3 grade levels: primary, intermediate, and junior high. All authors will leave students with a creative idea to explore on their own!

Included with your registration:
  • Opportunity to interact in a live, virtual keynote presentation with a our award winning, keynote author
  • Participation in interactive virtual workshops for each grade level with authors of the Community Reads
  • A copy of each of the Community Reads by presenting authors sent directly to your school
  • Teaching toolkits and discussion guide of Community Reads
  • Access to recordings of all presentations (for students who may have missed one because of recess, class, early dismissal, and etc.)
  • Entry into the official raffle for a chance to win a personalized book by one of the featured authors

Early-Bird Registration form and fee received on or before October 31: $550 for each school. 
Regular Registration form and fee received on or before December 31:  $650 for each school. 
(After January 1, 2023, a late fee of $150 will be added to the registration fee.)

Access to the virtual event will be granted ONLY to registered participants.

SCHOOL REFERRAL PROGRAM - If your school refers a new school to the book festival, both schools will enjoy a 25% discount. (For both schools, please provide the following below: 1. the name of the school, 2. the school representative, and 3. their phone number or email address.) PLEASE NOTE: FEES & FORMS FOR BOTH SCHOOLS MUST BE RECEIVED BEFORE REGISTRATION IS COMPLETE FOR BOTH.
