YOU MUST USE THIS FORM TO REQUEST AN ANNOUNCEMENT OR EVENT TO BE DISTRIBUTED TO OUR GAPABA MEMBERS.

GAPABA sends out several types of communications to our members and contacts. As of Feb. 2019, we have 420 paid and active members, and 2175 on our database of contacts. Communication formats include:

1. Event-Specific Announcements. These are event specific, and ideally, they are announced 3 weeks - month before the event, and we send out regular reminders, including a week before, day before, and day of, followed by possibly a synopsis/thank you. If you are a Committee Chair and/or Boardmember, you are responsible for providing a flyer, or pertinent information for a flyer to be designed by the Comms Comm.
2. E-BLASTS: We send out compiled e-blasts to our paid members with various announcements: Upcoming GAPABA events, Summary of Past Events (usually a photogallery), NAPABA announcements, Community Announcements (GAPABA co-sponsored events, or requests from other bar associations, non-profits, or schools), and sometimes jobs. Our goal is to get a compilation e-blast out bi-monthly (every 2 months), so this is not the most time-sensitive communication.
3. SOCIAL MEDIA: We have a Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram Feed. This is the most instantaneous form of communication, but will not necessarily reach all of our membership. If you need to get something out quickly, this is the fastest way we can get it out.

As of 2/15/2019, ALL communication requests must be submitted through this portal, to ensure that they don't get lost and we have a spreadsheet/timetable to post. While we don't guarantee that your announcement will be posted immediately, we will make every effort to do so.
