We are looking for participants of the Wim Hof training methods who suffer from the autoimmune disease rheumatoid arthritis (RA). The Radboud ​University Medical Centre in the Netherlands is initiating a retrospective study exploring the effects of the Wim Hof Method on medication use and disease activity in RA patients. This university has performed multiple studies into the Wim Hof method and gained a lot of experience with that over the past years. If deciding to join our study, participants will be asked to voluntarily send specific information from their medical records to the researchers, including values of blood tests and disease activity scores. This information should be available from at least 2 months before the start of the first Wim Hof training. All information will be handled confidentially according to the international regulations regarding personal data, and will only be accessible to the researchers of the Radboud University Medical Centre. In case of scientific publication, information will be completely anonymized, meaning that it cannot be traced back to specific persons.
