Structure of the workshop:
- First 5 sessions: Develop story writing skills including basics & structure of a story.
- Between Nov 19 - Jan 12: Work offline on your individual story with feedback and guidance from Alex.
- Last 3 sessions: Finesse the story and work on nuances of storytelling.
- Selected stories to be showcased at My Kahaani show in Feb 2026!
About the Instructor:
Alex is a seasoned playwright and story writer with over seven successful productions. Trained at the prestigious Guthrie Theater, he has been an active member of the Twin Cities writing community. With a deep passion for storytelling, Alex is dedicated to helping aspiring writers master the craft of character development and plot creation through his engaging and insightful classes.
He's also been SAATH's playwright and has written some successful plays such as Home Sweet Ghar, Desi Heart Crust, AKS and the most recent 2 Suitcases.
