CLOSED - CIVICUS Youth Action Team 2023 Call for Applications
In 2023 – 2024, the CIVICUS Youth Action Team is looking to strengthen its efforts in better connecting with the broad community of almost 4000 members of CIVICUS Youth. The following information is required to help us select the most passionate changemakers we feel are most suitable for this transformative opportunity. Please fill out the entire form after reading the information about the Youth Action Team.

To apply for the CIVICUS Youth Action Team, answer the following questions to know if you meet the eligibility criteria, before continuing with the application.

1. Are you 30 years or under by 31st December 2022?

2. Are you an active member of a civil society organisation (registered or not registered) that is advancing positive change in your community?

3. Are you part of the leadership team of a social movement or network at the national or regional level?

4. Do you have support from your organisation to apply for this voluntary role?

5. Are you passionate and experienced in defending progressive social justice agendas at the local, regional, and international levels by mobilising people?

6. Do you have experience designing and facilitating virtual networking events that boost community building and knowledge exchange?

7. Are you comfortable working in English and working with an international team based in different time zones?

8. Do you have access to the internet for at least 10 hours a month to dedicate to the CIVICUS Youth Action Team?

9.  Can you attend an annual in-person gathering of one week? (if travel conditions allow it)

10.  Do you come from North, Central America or the Caribbean, North, West or Southern Africa, Middle East or Central Asia? (other regions are already represented by existing YAT members)
