Stronger Together: Civic Center Volunteer Challenge

Thank you for joining Stronger Together: Neighbors in Action, the Civic Center’s tenant volunteer program.

By volunteering at Laramie Interfaith or Family Promise of Albany County, you help feed our neighbors and strengthen our community.

  • Minimum volunteer shift for 2025: 2 hours, earns $20
  • Maximum rent/studio credit per tenant for 2025: 8 hours, earns $100 

Want to keep going? We will add a plaque marking your hard work to your office door when you achieve:

  • Good Neighbor Plaque: 25+ Volunteer Hours 
  • Community Champion Plaque: 75+ Volunteer Hours
  • Hallway Hero Plaque: 100+ Volunteer Hours

How it works? 

1. Sign up to helpEnroll as a volunteer with either Laramie Interfaith or Family Promise, handle all required onboarding per agency, and book your first shift. 


2. Lend a hand: Start volunteering to and receive rent/studio credit up to $100. You will receive a bi-weekly email to update your progress or you can share this information with Jessica in Rm 116.

3. Keep supporting: Earn award plaques for your door as you book more hours to show the neighborhood how much you care!


Who is elligible? 

  • Available to current Civic Center tenants and studio artists in good standing.
  • Credits apply to next month’s rent statement or studio time.
  • Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value.
  • Program may close once the annual allocation is reached.
  • Volunteer time will ve validated with partner agency staff.
