HomeRoom Registration
About Homeroom
PRIME TIME HomeRoom is a new statewide initiative intended to deliver humanities-based, teacher professional development for Louisiana’s public school districts. The program teaches educators how to incorporate literacy instruction across core subjects and throughout the school day using a student-centered approach and collective learning strategies.

PRIME TIME HomeRoom program is open to all stakeholders at the school site: teachers, administrators, support staff, and families. Travel assistance and overnight accommodations ARE NOT provided as part of this workshop, however. Participants who choose to attend must do so at their own expense.

Please note that space is limited. Participants will be selected according to application submission date and other factors that will permit a reasonable distribution of participants among local schools, grade levels and subjects taught. The PRIME TIME staff will respond to applications received within 1 week of the deadline. Additional information about the workshop will also be sent to accepted applicants via email.

In order to register for the training, each eligible candidate must complete and submit this form ahead of the designated deadline. Applicants who are selected to attend the workshop will receive a stipend for completing the workshop.

Unsolicited registration forms will be disregarded.
