The Coaching That Counts Open Workshops offer immersive, full-day professional learning designed to deepen mathematical content knowledge and strengthen instructional practice. Each workshop focuses on a high-leverage area of mathematics or mathematics instruction, engaging participants in meaningful learning experiences that encourage them to think as learners, examine student thinking, and explore research-informed instructional strategies they can apply in their own classrooms.

Every session is grounded in the belief that powerful mathematics instruction begins with strong teacher understanding. Through collaboration, discussion, reflection, and interactive learning experiences, participants will deepen their understanding of essential mathematics, strengthen their instructional decision-making, and leave with classroom-ready resources, instructional strategies, and ideas that support student reasoning, discourse, and conceptual understanding.

Participants will have opportunities to: Deepen their understanding of essential mathematical concepts and learning progressions. Explore research-informed instructional strategies that support meaningful mathematics learning. Examine student thinking and consider its instructional implications.
