Summer Leadership Institute
This form is to gather information on students interested in the UIC ArabAmCC Summer Leadership Institute. The Leadership Institute aims to equip students to enact change at their institutions and in their communities. The training provides students with the resources and skills to make change while navigating the conditions of professional, educational, and community-based settings. UIC Students will learn skills on how to advocate or make their voices heard when coming into a conflict. Students learn how to identify potential issues, address conflict, and intervene when possible—whether encountering racist remarks, overlooked cultural sensitivity, or potential workplace alliances—so that students can direct their energy with focus and precision.
