Makership Application
Kravis Lab is excited to announce its second annual Makership program. The Makership is a premiere experience for student makers interested in product development and prototyping. During the twelve week program, students will work alongside industry experts at the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI) to ideate and fabricate a product of their own. The LACI campus will give students access to professional grade prototyping machinery and will provide a pipeline to internships and mentorships for pioneering startups.

The weekly workshops will teach:
- Tools for generative thinking
- Digital design and 3D modeling
- Industrial prototyping techniques
- User interface and experience design

In the final week, students will pitch their ideas to a panel of judges and potential investors. The winning maker will be invited to attend the 3rd Annual Moonshot House in Hawaii! Participants will also receive a certificate in Prototype Design and Development endorsed by the Advanced Prototyping Center at LACI.

The program will take place every Friday from 9:00am to 1:00pm (with the exception of Spring Break and Cesar Chavez Day) at the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator from January 25th to April 26th. Transportation will be provided.

If you want to learn more and hear from students who participated last year, attend the info session on Monday, November 12th at 7:00 in at Kravis 321.

Applications are due by Sunday, November 16th at noon. Interviews will be scheduled during the week after Thanksgiving.
