Soups, Stews and Chilis
Submitting your recipe ahead of time helps us make this event a smashing success. Your contributions could also land a starring role in our upcoming community cookbook. Let's build something delicious together! Below are some tips from Rach - we look foroward to seeing you on October 21 at 11am (please arrive at 10:45) for some friendly competition.
  1. Season to Perfection: Don't be shy with your spices. A well-seasoned soup leaves a lasting impression!

  2. Texture Matters: Mix it up! Whether it's a creamy puree or a chunky blend, texture adds layers to your dish.

  3. Fresh is Best: Use those market ingredients like they're going outta style. Fresh produce brightens any soup.

  4. Garnish Galore: A finishing touch can take your soup from good to unforgettable. Think croutons, herbs, or a dash of good-quality olive oil.

  5. Tell Your Soup's Story: Be ready to share why your soup is unique. Is it Grandma’s recipe? Inspired by world cuisines? Tell us and make it memorable!

SEE YOU ON SATURDAY, OCT 21 
You'll need to bring enough for one serving and the judges will taste from that.  We will have an area for warming and styling/garnishing your dish and then you will have the opportunity to share a bit about your soup with the judges.  Soups will be scored on presentation, use of ingredients and overall deliciousness.
